Northeast Nebraska

About Northeast Nebraska
Welcome to Northeast Nebraska. Our region, which is comprised of 17 counties, encompasses rural living, small communities, and four micropolitans. You've never heard of a micropolitan? We didn't make it up! This term is used to describe an urban area with a population of at least 10,000 but less than 50,000.
Along with thousands of acres of clean, beautiful recreational areas and our family friendly events, visitors can enjoy water sports, recreation, parks, ice fishing, art galleries, history museums, and so much more.
